Description
The NETZER GROUP constructed a 151 m² ISO7 clean room at its Pürgen site in Germany as a hall-in-hall construction within an existing warehouse. Personnel and material airlocks were also installed. The project served to expand production capacity and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The project was completed within eight months, while operations in the existing hall continued without interruption.
Technical data
The cleanroom has a 30-fold air exchange rate and precise temperature and humidity control, which is regulated by the heat pump and ventilation system. Humidity is controlled by treated deionized water, while a coordinated pressure cascade from the cleanroom through the airlocks to the surrounding area ensures stable ISO7 conditions. The planning was carried out entirely in 3D based on a laser scan of the existing hall, and the automation of the system was implemented using Evon XAMControl. The compressed air supply was provided, with treatment and generation carried out by the customer.
Special features
As general contractor, the NETZER GROUP coordinated all trades involved, including steel construction, housing, electrical engineering, ventilation technology, installation work, floor coating, insulation technology, software and control technology, qualification, and furnishing of the airlocks. Air distribution is provided by an innovatively designed distribution cylinder in the false ceiling. Adiabatic humidification, a heat pump, and a rotary heat exchanger ensure particularly low energy consumption. The project was implemented in accordance with special safety requirements, including EX protection documentation and TÜV approval of the heat pump in the outdoor area. Upon completion, all defined targets in terms of capacity, efficiency, and ISO7 compliance were achieved.
